Folks who traveled does not always have a positive connotation. But if its done in a great place with a great company around, it’s exciting yet fulfilling. Take a peak at one such awesome gathering with The Road Trippers (TRT).
Started a simple gathering as the group travelled with no tour guides and budgets to consider that made one hell of a trip memorable yet fulfilling.
The Road Trippers (TRT) is born with a collective collaboration of folks ranging from bloggers, photographers or simply travel enthusiasts that have the passionate interest of joyous yet adventurous spirit.
It was an intimate gathering that even we have our own separate lives to do our travel, members of the group find their way to meet again.
Held in our favorite staycation, KL Towers Residences which located in the heart of Makati business district, as soon we entered the room, hugs and kisses were shared with one another.
It was a day of “missing you” feeling – from sharing of delectable food / drinks, games, surprise raffles which unceasingly shared by fellow trippers and sponsors who supported making all these contributing factors a gathering of excitement.
Design of the Venue
While waiting for others to come, the venue was transformed to a joyous celebration designed by fashion bloggers Anne Ville and Aylin – a Candy Cane Plaid Party to match the holiday theme.
Shared Food
The Road Trippers are also known for their DIYs even most of us are working in the office. Yes, we don’t have caterers. What good with it was we were smart enough to prepared and ordered our own food.
Since the service hotel room is complete with amenities like cooking area, Pepi prepared the rice. Drinks, chips and ice are just a downstairs away from the hotel.
All food were delivered in the hotel thru a phone call – pancit, chicken, lechon and pizza.
Ria bought also her baked macaroni which also delivered to her. While Marco have a cake for dessert. Wines are also present for sharing.
Who would taught that a simple meet-ups would turn out to a festive one?
The Gathering
Yes, it’s been a while.
Spending time together with so much chika sessions as laughter and ultimate picture taking were all over the area.
To tell you honestly, I did not post any pictures at that time sharing it in social media. Maybe the feeling of being together again in flesh matters to me.
Anyway, internet is open 24/7 and I can see them there via their social media feeds.
Physical meet-ups like this one and learning about them individually talking would be a wonderful conversation.
Connecting personally for me is more deep face to face as you see them smile and hear their laughter.
