An amusement park and a floating restaurant that made Calauan, Laguna was one of the exciting part to spent a day. Those huge yet gigantic displays of Buddhist figure around served as an attraction that made your eating experience more enticing.
This the Isdaan Floating Restaurant operated by Barrio Fiesta located in Calauan Laguna after passing thru the national highway of Bay with several stores of plants around.
Together with the Road Trippers, we headed to the place one summer afternoon to experience the resto’s ambiance con theme park. The theme park is FREE as in NO ENTRANCE FEE. You can just eat at the resto and after that, you can stroll around.
There were lot of people when we got the entrance area and need to be registered to reserve a seat.
While waiting for our turn, we were excited to go around and explore the whole place. Those displays were so huge, wondrous yet captivating!
Still waiting for our turn. We availed the free boat ride – a small swamp of lake where one can go around the vicinity of watered area and again feast your eyes with those big displays around.
After the boat ride, just give 20.00 tip to the bangkero.
After our boat ride, we still go around to take some pictures. The weather was cooperating to us even it was hot at that time. All the pictures we took was I suppose picture perfect. Tee-hee!
For the restaurant, these are the sample cabana for eating out. More relaxing, I may say with a twist of urban living and nature around. Still, we are in the resto not in a resort.
Part of the eating experience is being thrilled by singing cooks/waiters and folk dancing. It is just a happy place to be!
For the food, I may say ordinary food like grilled stuff from pork, chicken and seafood.
Pick your choice. Best choice will be Boodle selection which cost between P 500.00 – 700.00 good for 3 – 5 persons depending on your appetite.
Order of rice and drinks are separate with the boodle selection.
To be honest, we do not crave much on the food.
Still the extra-ordinary way to really feel the place were the ambiance of gigantic figures around and the feel of a rice field with the cold breeze of urban living.
